Keshet Short Day

Before starting big boy school, Benji had a "practice" day at CBI. He had no trouble running right in to the school, and waved goodbye with no tears:

After an hour, the parents came back for their kids, some of whom were still crying for them. Benji, however, refused to leave. Here he is proudly showing off the Shabbat table he set (just before telling me to leave so he could stay at school):

Teeth

Abby lost two teeth in very quick succession last week, so you may notice some inconsistency in the pictures. The first had been wiggly for a while, and Abby was super excited when it finally came out:


The second tooth was just a little wiggly, but popped out after an accident in the pool. This was very traumatic for Abby, but we love that double gap-toothed look:

More Birthday

The next few days will be catch-up posts from the last crazy few weeks.

We had not one but three separate cakes for mommy's birthday this year, much to Abby's delight. We started a week ahead with a small birthday celebration at Casa Lamy. The girls made a banner:


And we enjoyed a Carvel Cake:




Kevin's parents spent the next week with us (thanks!), and we celebrated again on Friday night before Kevin's mom left. Cake #2 - Boston Creme Pie:




We had a third cake on my actual birthday (forgot the picture!).

And now we all need to go on a diet.
