More Art from Abby

Spotted in the hallway at Greenbrier:

Abby told me later they were asked to sketch their shoe and put it on a table setting that meant something to them. I actually recognized this as her shoe from down the hall, which is what drew me to look at it.

Sunday in the Park

We were all tired the day after Relay and wanted a quiet afternoon.  A picnic lunch in the park seemed just the thing:

Relay for Life

We decided to do this fundraiser as a family this year, along with several friends who have been participants for several years and are very committed to the cause.  It was a fun (and exhausting!) day:

Benji's Kindergarten Concert

It was a super cute program on animals.  Benji had an acting part as a farmer, so he insisted on wearing a button down shirt:

It's Raining Petals

At least in front of Mrs. Patek's house.  The kids wanted to throw a wedding there since it was so pretty:

Goodbye to a Friend

Tomorrow we will participate in Relay for Life with the kids (I am sure there will be pictures next week).  We'll take a break mid-day to attend the memorial service for our dear friend Kris, who lost his battle with cancer last week.  This is my favorite picture of Kris (along with the rest of Team Hall Pass), as it reflects his personality so well:

Beautiful Day for Putt-Putt

After a morning at T-ball and the Dogwood Parade, Benji asked out of the blue to play Putt Putt.  The weather was perfect, so we headed off to the course.  Abby decided (for the first time ever!) that she wanted to stay home and chill (by herself!). Driving away was a little bittersweet, but the golf was fun:
