Homecoming Game

Abby continues to surprise us with her willing participation in high school life. She made plans to go to the homecoming football game, and we offered to host a few of her friends for a tailgate before the game (and provide the all-important transportation to and from the event for all):

The girls were down the driveway before I could stop them for a picture, so this hazy one on the dark street will have to do - Lucy, Abby, Elisabeth and Pray Meh

Ten and a Half

October 10th was Benji's half birthday, and per family tradition we celebrated with half cupcakes (well, mini-cupcakes) after dinner:

While we were up in Herndon, the older girls mostly spent time doing homework (it's good they are so much alike). We did drop them off at the mall for a while on Saturday to try to find a homecoming dress for Abby (Julia already has hers). No dress, but we found this picture from Abby's phone (her pics also go to Kevin's phone):

Minefaire

We headed up to DC last weekend because Alex and Steph had gotten Benji and Sophia tickets for Minefaire, which is a Minecraft-themed festival. Kevin and Steph ended up being the adults to take them, but they took lots of pictures so we all could enjoy it:

Continuing with their spirit themes, last Field Hockey game the spirit was "cereal." The girls had to buy their buddy's favorite cereal and decorate the box.
