Legendary Conductor

As part of the school's 50th anniversary celebration next month, the band, chorus and orchestra will be presenting a special concert. The band will have two songs conducted by Vince Tournello, who conducted the CHS band for 30 years before retiring (and for whom the band room is named). He came in for a practice this week and we got to see some photos and video (Benji is in the front row):

S'mores Dinner

Abby shared a video of someone making savory s'mores, and we decided that we had to try it. We roasted baby bries and mini babybells and ate them on crackers with pepper jelly. Followed up by real smores, of course. Gave us a good excuse to clean off the patio and enjoy it on a pretty fall night (hat tip to Kevin for the actual clean up):
