Benji has become suddenly insanely jealous of Abby's Mr. Bear chair (pictured by the door). She is not yet ready to part with it, but she offered to help Benji construct his own Mr. Bear seat. Here is the result:



I doubted he would go for it, but he was thrilled with her improvisation (should have figured anything she made for him would be golden). Here he is enjoying "Benji's Bear":

Shabbat Campout

Benji's little Explorers group had their first camp-out (in a friend's backyard). Since all the families in attendance were Jewish, we decided to make it a Shabbat camp-out. Here are Benji and Kevin pitching the tent:

Amazingly, both kids slept in the tent and were thrilled with the experience. We may even do it again!
