Micah's Bar Mitzvah

On Saturday, we attended Micah's Bar Mitzvah as a family:

Photo Booths have been a popular option this Bar Mitzvah season, and Abby has come home from each one so far with a collection of strips. Last week's were my favorite:

Pillow Talk

Abby has been taking home ec this semester, and she came home with her favorite project to date last week: a pillow she had sewn:

A few days later, she came home with a surprise for Benji - she had made him a pillow as well. He was thrilled:

He's been sleeping with it ever since.

Election Night 2016

We told the kids they could stay up and watch returns, but ended up sending them to bed when things got ugly. They were having fun coloring maps early in the evening, though:

Mazel Tov Choir

With some urging from his music teacher, benji decided to join the choir at Temple.  They had there first performace last Friday, and he did great!:
