Abby's Last Dartmouth Move Out

Dartmouth graciously gave graduates until Monday at noon to move out, and we needed every bit of that time:

Mid-process. Abby wanted one last photo with her super cool wall collage

All finished - noon on the dot!

After lunch at Still North, we decided to make one more stop at this ice cream place across the river that Abby had always wanted to try

Goodbye to Hanover, for now!

Dartmouth Graduation Weekend, part 4

We had a packed schedule after commencement. First stop, Abby wanted to pick up her BE from Thayer, so we headed down there, where she also wanted to take more pictures with her degrees in front of the engineering buildings:

We also made a quick stop at her dorm for a picture with it

From here, we headed to the Theater Department graduation party. Abby has worked in the costume shop for years and really wanted to have this send-off:

The theater department is located in the newly remodeled Hop Center

We headed from the Hop across the river to where we were co-hosting a graduation party with Taylor and Sophia's parents. We missed a lot of the crowd by the time we got there, but arrived in time to cut the cake and visit a little bit:

We decided to have dinner at Molly's with Grandma and Pop-pop (Chris and Patrick had to hit the road), and while Kevin took them back to the hotel after dinner, Abby wanted to take a few more pictures around campus:

We thought it would be fun to have some grad pictures together since Benji will be starting at Dartmouth in the fall

Some graduates have canes from secret societies or special events. The folks at the costume department made this "cane" for Abby out of a yardstick and pin cushion

And that's a wrap on graduation weekend!

Dartmouth Graduation Weekend, part 2

The Thayer School of Engineering investiture was held on Saturday morning, and Abby received her hood in recognition of having earned her Bachelor of Engineering (which is a separate degree from her BA).

Waiting for the ceremony to begin. It was SO sunny

After investiture, Abby really wanted to go to the Geography Department luncheon, where she had to drop off her Prague poster, in any case:

Teachers and friends from Prague

That night after Chris and Patrick arrived, we all went for dinner at Three Tomatoes in Lebanon:
