On Monday night of graduation week, CHS held their senior award ceremony. The school gives out a fairly limited number of awards, so students and families are invited individually if they are receiving something:

| Award #1. Each department is allowed to choose one student to honor as "Top Senior" in the subject. Benji was chosen by the science department (he was, oddly, the only man to win a Department Honor) |

| Award #2. Because Benji had already received a department honor, this one took us by surprise. The PTO gets to award three scholarships to students best on character and leadership and they chose Benji (along with Kiley and one other woman we did not know). This is the only scholarship given out by the school (as opposed to the scholarships given out by individual colleges or community groups) |

| Since Benji did not stop at the photo stop when he collected his certificates, I made him go back up front for a picture |
