Benji asked for a Harry Potter party this year, and we were happy to oblige. The set-up was fun:
When the kids arrived, they were each presented with a letter from Hogwarts and their supply list, and then were sent to find their money around the yard (we hid galleons and sickles everywhere):

Once they had their money, they could "shop" at Diagon Alley for wands, quills, spell books and a pet:
Supplies in hand, we sent the children to be sorted into houses (by the sorting hat, of course) and receive their house pins:
Then on to lessons. Benji had 14 friends, so we divided them into groups to rotate through classes:
Herbology:
Quidditch Practice:
Potions:

After lessons were through, we had a Hogsmeade visit where the kids could spend their extra coins:
