A Full Day of Asheville

Monday was the only full day we spent in Asheville, and unfortunately it was raining. But, we still headed out for the sites we had planned and made the most of it:

The Biltmore Estate

We got Benji the audio tour, which he loved (and provided us with lots of tidbits from)

Conservatory at the Biltmore

Visiting Tom Wolfe's grave at Riverside Cemetary

People leave pencils at the grave of this author of "Look Homeward Angel" and "You Can't Go Home Again"

O'Henry is buried in the same cemetery. People leave $1.86 in pennies at his grave (from his short story, "The Gift of the Magi"). F. Scott Fitzgerald also wrote in Asheville, but is not buried there.

Vegan restaurant for dinner

Followed by more chocolate
