Sunday School Art

Benji has been working hard in Sunday School and is proud of the art he is making.  Here is a piece based on a Jewish artist they were studying:

Duck Donuts

We make a run for it in our PJs (except Abby, of course, who got dressed), because it was just that sort of Saturday morning:

Art Gallery

I am going to use the time we are traveling for the holidays to catch up on some "lost" posts (i.e., things that did not get posted right away because they were not time sensitive):

The kids were very excited about this (you can see it is also a few weeks old since the sign is on our Thanksgiving decoration):

Mrs. Claus Invites

This is an annual event at the Omni that we used to take Abby to every year.  After several years away, I decided to take Benji after school, since he had not had a chance to visit with Santa yet and this seemed like a good alternative.  He really enjoyed his chat with Mrs. Claus, although he told her he hd not made up his mind about a gift yet and then spent a good amount of time explaining how Blue Henry speaks to Scarlet, our elf-on-the-shelf:

Julia's 12th Birthday

She had her traditional sleepover (this year it was candy-themed):

Abby was surprisingly good at this (moving skittles with a straw)

The next day, in anticipation of our trip to Escape Room, the girls created a murder mystery puzzle for us:

That evening, we went to our actual Escape Room puzzle, which was tons of fun (and we made it out just under the one hour limit!):
