Blue Ribbon Ceremony

Abby's school has been names a 2009 Blue Ribbon school (one of 300 in the country), and everyone in the administration is VERY excited. It is rare to have any communication from the school that does not use the words "blue" and "ribbon" at least a half dozen times. Tomorrow, the school has been selected for a special blue ribbon presentation. The United States Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, along with our Senator, Representative, and Superintendent will be at the school to make the blue ribbon presentation. The kids are all very excited that "President Obama's helper" is coming, and they have been busy getting ready. Here they are posing in the Greenbrier, Blue Ribbon School, t-shirts.
