We started the day at the Salt Pond visitors center and then a short hike around the marsh:
After the marsh, we decided to check out the beach at one of the neighboring resorts. We got there just in time to try our hand at the sand castle contest (this is a whale, but it is hard to see from the picture):

We moved on the hermit crab races, which was a lot of fun:

Abby's crab placed in two races and Benji's in one. We tried again later in the week and Abby won a prize, much to her delight.
