Florida At Last

Leaving on Monday for our spring break trip was a great idea -- so much more relaxing -- but the weather in Virginia turned cold on Sunday and we were glad to get to West Palm Beach.

We left so early, we were able to see the sunrise from the plane:

We had a quiet first day with a chance to catch up with Grandpa Steve. Benji especially had fun goofing off with Grandpa:

After dinner at our regular "first night" spot (Sweet Tomatoes), Grandpa gave Benji his birthday present early, so he could use it for the rest of the trip:

 Benji was thrilled, but had to be restrained so the camera could charge overnight. More on that tomorrow!
