Blackout

We had a tremendous storm right before school started, which knocked out our power for 24 hours. Benji was ready and excited to break out the lanterns:

When the rain stopped, we went out to survey the neighborhood and were surprised by how much damage was inflicted:

Luckily, the power was back for the start of school and the streets are mostly cleaned up. Now, if only the city would come and pick up the debris piles....
