Pittsburgh, Redux

We made it to Pittsburgh several hours later than intended, and the rain followed us most of the way, but we still hoped to salvage the night. We started with dinner (it was still raining at this point) but were delighted that it had cleared by the time we finished eating. Benji really wanted to take the light rail to one of the inclines (it's a free transfer) that go up Mt. Washington. We got as far as buying tickets, but delays made the train infeasible and we headed back up for an Uber. Turned out to be a fantastic move, though, because they don't sell transit tickets at the incline, which costs $2.50/pp per one way ride, whereas the transit tickets cost $11/total and were good for unlimited rides in 3 hours (which turned out to be a good thing). We accidentally took an uber to the top of the incline rather than the bottom, so we exited the car to immediate good views:

As the sun started to set, we decided to ride the incline to the bottom:

We only stayed at the bottom for a few minutes before heading back up the incline to catch the end of the sunset from the top, which has a much better view:

When the sun had set, we took the incline back to the bottom to grab a cab or Uber. When we got to the bottom, though, the operator told us it was not a safe spot to get a car and that we should go back to the top, so we did. The wait for an Uber was long, though, so we took a few more shots of the skyline at night while we waited:

When we finally made it back to the hotel, it was late and we went right to bed!
