Catching the Bunny

So, there was a backstory to the Easter picture we posted yesterday. We went to a "puppy and pony" birthday party out at a local farm last week. The farm had tons of animals for the kids (more pictures tomorrow), including bunny rabbits. The farmer put the bunny rabbit in a wagon and told the kids they could climb in and pet her, so long as they were gentle. Benji immediately jumped in, but being Benji, he terrified the bunny who immediately jumped off her stump and tried to hide. The farmer assured us he could not hurt her (she was fast and used to kids), so what followed was an amusing sequence of Benji desperately trying to catch up to the poor bunny. Shabbat is Here

Both kids love Fridays, which mean Shabbat in our house. They have both become adept at setting the shabbat table, and often skirmish over the step stool to get the Challah from the cabinet:



Recently, Benji has started imitating covering his eyes as soon as the shabbat candles (or any candles come out):



His timing is often a little off, but his presentation is adorable.
