Boy in a Box

When he is not driving his car, Benji has been enjoying spending some quality time in a box. This old computer box has long been a favorite of Abby's, and now Benji has adopted it as well. I came home for lunch to find him merrily climbing in and out. After a few minutes, Electra came to observe, and this added a great new element to the game. Each time Benji would crawl out and spot Electra near the door, he would roar at her. She did not seem to mind:

Homemade playdough

Abby found a recipe in a magazine for no-bake playdough. As an added bonus, it is safe to eat (just flour, salt, oil and spices for coloring), so we decided to give it a go. The texture was pretty good, and both kids enjoyed playing with it for a good long time:

Driving in My Car

Benji is newly obsessed with all forms of car. Every time we walk outside, he makes a mad dash for his cozy coupe, and dissolves in tears if we try to hustle him inside. Here he is enjoying some time in his vehicle:



When we can get him inside, he spends his time in his spare car, furiously spinning the steering wheel. I think we need to teach him to put his hands in the 9 and 3 positions:

Window Art

With yet another request for an "art project" from Abby, we decided to break out the window markers this weekend. Here is Abby showing off her handiwork:
