Off to Florida! (also known as the coconut saga)

After 2 days at home, we turned around and headed straight down to West Palm Beach to visit Grandpa Steve.  We arrived Sunday evening, and Grandpa told the kids that he had been saving a coconut that fell off his tree for them.  What followed was a side-splitting couple of minutes  trying to break them open (way harder than you would think), which resulted in one cracked flower pot and a somewhat smashed coconut leaking coconut milk everywhere:

One Last Project

Before we left NY, Abby had just one last to-do item on her wish list. She really wanted to make an ornament with Pop-pop. We had a busy last day, so here she is trying to finish it up at bedtime the night before we left:
