Benji wanted to have one last parent lunch in the courtyard before he left Greenbrier. Monday turned out to be a beautiful day for it and we enjoyed looking at all the animals in the pond:

Cherry Picking

After our bried trip to Herndon, we drove back to Charlottesville in time to go to Spring Valley Orchards for a last week of middle school trip. Abby's friend Elisabeth's family invited us to go cherry picking with them and the Brisettes. It was a beautiful cool spring day. The cherries were a little rough because of all the rain, but we still had a great time.

Sophia's 9th Birthday Party

To start off a busy last week of school, we headed up to Herndon for less than 24 hours for Sophia's Harry Potter Sleepover 9th birthday party. Steph did a great job on all of the props for this:

Minds in Motion

Benji was over the moon excited to perform on the CHS stage with the Richmond Ballet.Like Abby, he got to work with his Fourth Grade class all year on a performance piece as part of the Minds in Motion project. The themes must be on a four year cycle, because his performance was also about Jamestown:
