Snowtubing at Massanutten

We've never done this before, but the idea popped into my head one day and we decided to give it a try. Tickets are heavily discounted on Tuesdays, and we had the Tuesday after MLK Day off, so off we went. Turned out to be a lot of fun:

Bread Baking

Another bucket list item for the month. We decided to try out the New York Times "No Knead" overnight bread recipe, and it came out really well. It was cold out, so we proofed it by the fireplace (on a day we had a fire) and it worked! We ate it for lunch, along with some spreads and fruit:

This year's Presidential Speaker for the Arts at UVA was Leslie Odom, Jr.. All 4 of us love him on the Hamilton soundtrack, so we collected 4 free tickets at headed to JPJ:

The Lindt store at Barracks closed, and we checked out the sales on the last day. The manager gifted the kids with these:

The Trial of Goldilocks

This year Benji gave up Black Box Players in favor of Stage Left, which is the theater club at Walker. Their first semester play was "The Trial of Goldilocks," as told in one act. Benji was chosen for the role of Goldilocks's defense attorney, which he was well suited for:
