Father's Day 2025

Abby picked up doughnuts for breakfast, the kids had nice gifts for Kevin and we played trivia in the evening at Random Row, followed by a trivial pursuit match at home:

Unlocked History: The Allied Spy

On Saturday we had a make-up Mother's Day of sorts because we had not been able to celebrate all together. Kevin made a nice brunch and in the afternoon we used up the last of a gift card we had for this escape room. This was the hardest room they offer and plays up to 10 people, so we were pretty happy to solve it even though it took us a full 58 minutes so we *just* eked at the win:

Family Movie Night Out: Mission Impossible: Final Reckoning

Kevin really wanted to see this movie for Father's Day. The times did not work out with his other choice (trivia), but we were able to make it work to see it on Friday night at Regal:

Family Dinner at Botanical

Part celebration, part we were too tired to cook. But it was Kevin's last day of school, my first day in two weeks of not having to work all evening, my first evening out of the ankle boot (which the orthopedist took off earlier in the day in favor of a much smaller brace) and the kids were both free:

First City Swim Meet 2025

Benji looked great - swimming for the CHS team means he is in much better shape at at the start of summer season:
