We called it an early evening, but I got up ahead of sunrise on Friday morning and took some pictures:
Once the sun had risen and everyone else was moving, we headed west towards Desert View tower, stopping at viewpoints along the way:

We ate at a lodge restaurant to celebrate Abby's actual birthday and then caught the sunset at Hopi Point:
Tomorrow, onward towards Arches.
