The great vacation download begins. I am going to break it into a few chunks rather than day-by-day.
Right after Champs ended, we jumped in the car and drove to Northern Virginia to visit our friends the Cohens. We made a quick(ish) stop at the American Girl store in Tyson's Corner, because Abby was eager to spend a gift card she had received for her birthday from her Great Aunt Barbara. Here she is with all her goodies waiting in line. She loved paying for it all herself 9and asked for the blank gift card back):

It was nice to get a slow start on the trip. I'll post more travel pics tomorrow and save the big dump for next week.
