Picking Fruit at Critzer's Orchard

We decided to have a family outing to pick fruit and were delighted to discover that Critzer's was offering u-pick of strawberries, peaches, blackberries AND raspberries. It was a beautiful day, not too hot and gorgeous blue skies.

We decided to pick peaches first:

The trees were absolutely loaded with giant ripe fruit:

We picked a huge basket in no time and moved on to blackberries:

A lot of the blackberries had yet to ripen, but we still found plenty to pick:

The homemade ice cream we promised the kids was not quite ready at Critzers, so we ended the day at Chiles Orchard with fresh peach sundaes:
